When actor Jared Leto approached us, I did not know who he was at first. If I could go back in time, I would have given him the one copy of AMANDA PARADISE we had while filming. I would have earmarked the poem "Glitter In My Wounds" and explained how ALL OF MY FRIENDS who died of AIDS in the 80s and 90s would have LOVED his EXTRAORDINARY performance as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club!

30th Anniversary of The Book of Frank

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of when I began writing The Book of Frank (Wave Books).

My goal is to perform 9 book-length readings throughout the year. If you are interested in hosting one of the readings, I would appreciate you contacting me at 88CAConrad at Gmail dot com. 

I'm looking forward to celebrating this book! Thanks to my fantastic publisher, Wave Books, and to Eileen Myles for writing the Afterword! After the 9th reading of the book this year, I will go into the studio to produce an audiobook for Wave!
